April 14th, 2024On March 28, Troop 92 Eagle Scout Daniel D’Souza passed his Board of Review to become the first Scout in the Connecticut Rivers Council to earn the BSA Distinguished Conservation Award. In order to earn the award, Daniel needed to complete two conservation projects (each in a different category), earn seven conservation related merit badges, and pass a Board of Review. He completed both his projects at the Quinnipiac Valley Audubon Society’s Riverbound Farm Sanctuary here in Cheshire where he removed invasive species and planted a pollinator garden.
